I always hear Car Alarms going off for no reason. Will I have that problem ?

Not necessarily.  Most auto alarms have various "add on" sensors. These are meant to detect different types of attack. The most common type of "add on" sensor is the "shock sensor". This sensor is meant to detect a sudden blow to the vehicle, such as glass breakage. These sensors are adjustable, but, it is almost impossible to adjust, so it is effective, yet does not false alarm. These sensors can be triggered by a loud muffler, a thunder clap, rain, etc...
All add on sensors can false alarm. Although some are more reliable that others. Most of our customers prefer no add on sensors. This leaves you virtually, false alarm free. The only way the alarm will be triggered, is if the doors, hood, or trunk are opened.

I hear alarms going off all the time, no one seems to care. Will an alarm really give me protection?

Yes. Think about it. When you witnessed this, it was probably a false alarm, which can be controlled. One more thing to think about. You may not be concerned when a alarm goes off, but, you are doing nothing wrong. Now on the other hand, a nervous thief that just set off that alarm, does not want to attract any attention. Actually, when a thief sees that you have an alarm, he will usually move on to a vehicle that is not protected.

My car didn't come with power locks, can I still get keyless entry?

Yes, although you will have to have Power lock Actuators (motors) installed in each door that you want to lock/unlock with a remote. Price varies according to vehicle types.

What's a Remote Start, and do I need one?

Remote start systems allow you to start your vehicle without getting inside. When combined with an alarm, this gives you the ability to start your vehicle, and leave the alarm "armed". Most remote start systems include features that prevent theft, if someone attempts to drive the vehicle away.

Remote start systems are great for warming your vehicle before that early morning winter drive to work. Omega remote start systems include a feature that will start the vehicle if the temperature inside gets too cold of hot.
